We do not collect anything about you. Everything the game knows stays on your device.
Effective 19 August 2026 · Applies to app version 1.0 and later
Volcano Of Fireworks is a single-player arcade game. It has no accounts, no servers of our own, and no advertising or analytics code of any kind.
This policy explains what the app stores, which permissions it may ask for, and how you can erase everything. It applies to the Volcano Of Fireworks app for iPhone and iPad and to this website.
We collect no personal data through the app.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, contacts, location or any other personal detail in order to play. There is no registration, no login and no profile held by us.
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no attribution or install-tracking SDK and no crash-reporting service. Nothing about how you play is measured, transmitted or profiled, and no advertising identifier is read or used. In App Store Connect the app is filed as Data Not Collected.
Your progress has to live somewhere. It lives in the app's own local storage on your device, and it is removed when you delete the app.
| Stored locally | Why it exists |
|---|---|
| Best scores, distances and recent run history | Personal records and the on-device leaderboard |
| Sparks balance, lifetime earned and spent | The in-game currency |
| Owned and equipped rockets, trails and boosters | Your collection and inventory |
| Daily missions, achievements, season and streak progress | Daily and long-term progression |
| Callsign, if you type one | The nickname shown on your own leaderboard row |
| Pilot photo, if you choose one | Shown on your profile card; stored as a compressed image in the app's storage |
| Audio, haptics, control and reminder preferences | Your settings |
| The simulated rival pilot roster | The offline leaderboard, generated on your device |
The rival pilots on the leaderboard are generated by the game itself. They are not real people, nothing about them is downloaded, and nothing about your play is uploaded to compare against them.
Because this data is local and there is no account, it is not backed up to us and does not follow you to another device. Restoring an iCloud or iTunes device backup that includes the app may restore it, since that backup is between you and Apple.
Every permission below is optional. The game is fully playable if you decline all of them, and each is requested only at the moment you use the feature that needs it.
| Permission | What it is used for | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Taking a pilot photo for your profile card, or a backdrop for a Photo Finale run card. The camera is opened only when you tap Camera, and nothing is recorded in the background. | No |
| Photo library (read) | Choosing an existing picture for either of the above. The app reads only the single image you pick — it does not browse, index or scan your library. | No |
| Photo library (add) | Saving a finished Photo Finale card back to your gallery when you tap Save to gallery. | No |
| Notifications | Local reminders you can switch on for the daily crate, the daily mission reset, your streak and the end of a season. These are scheduled by the app on your device and are off until you turn them on. | No |
Photos are the most personal thing the game can touch, so it is worth being precise about what happens to them.
There are no third-party services embedded in the game.
Volcano Of Fireworks contains no advertising network, no analytics provider, no social login, no chat, no user-generated content sharing and no in-app browser. Nothing about you is sold, rented or shared, because nothing about you is collected in the first place.
The game has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, so no payment information is ever requested or handled by the app. If you obtained the app through the App Store, your relationship with Apple regarding that download is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by ours.
Sound effects and jingles come from Kenney, music from OpenGameArt.org — all released under CC0 1.0 (public domain) — and the Fredoka and Bungee typefaces are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Every one of these assets ships inside the app, so playing the game involves no request to any of those sites.
The game is rated 4+ and is safe for children by design.
Volcano Of Fireworks knowingly collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). There is no account, no chat, no sharing between players, no purchases and no advertising, so there is nothing for a child to disclose and nothing that can be marketed to them.
The only free-text field in the game is the callsign, a nickname shown on your own device. We encourage parents to make sure a child does not use their real name there. The game also ships a Reduced flashing setting, which we recommend for anyone sensitive to bright, fast visual effects.
Because everything is local, you are always in full control of it.
Settings → Data → Reset all progress permanently erases every stored value — scores, run history, Sparks, rockets, trails, boosters, missions, achievements, season progress, streak, callsign and your pilot photo. It cannot be undone.
Deleting the app removes its entire container from your device, taking all of the above with it. No copy is left behind with us, because no copy was ever made.
Rights such as access, correction, portability, erasure and objection under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws are satisfied directly by the two actions above: we hold no personal data about you to disclose, correct, export or delete. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. If you have written to us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time using the contact details below.
Game data is protected by iOS itself: it is written inside the app's sandboxed container, which other apps cannot read, and it inherits your device's encryption and passcode protection. It is retained for exactly as long as you keep the app installed and choose not to reset it.
Support correspondence is kept only while it is needed to resolve your enquiry and is then deleted. No transmission or storage system is perfectly secure, but since the app sends nothing about you anywhere, the surface here is deliberately kept as small as it can be.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top before that version is released. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes on the App Store. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy — and if you would rather not, deleting the app removes everything, as described above.
Questions about this policy, or about privacy in the game, are always welcome.
Write to [email protected], or use the form on our support page. We aim to reply within two business days.
